We have been running ads in the local papers and on news groups for the last 3 weeks, but I haven't gotten many resumes in response to the ads.
Will perform in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Will minimize the use of excessive, redundant resources to address the overlapping requirements of performance balancing, network management, reducing outages, system maintenance costs, diagnosis and repair, and migration to new hardware and software system versions. Requirements: BA/BS in CS, or related degree required; 5+ years experience with UNIX, C, and TCP/IP protocol suite. Management experience desirable for running day to day operations. Familiarity with software development a must. Knowledge of Cisco IOS, Sun Sparc servers, Perl and Tcl/Tk and Expect languages, sendmail, DNS/BIND, Usenet/NNTP, WWW/httpd, SNMP, computer security and network analyzer products Oracle and C programming, SM-Arch Backup S/W experience a plus.
