HTML Document Conversion: Conclusion

This manual is based on the procedures developed by Michael Stefanini, Arquelio Semidey, and Jim U'Ren during the conversion of JPL STD-00009. The entire conversion process took less than 2 weeks.

Creating on-line documentation is a much simpler task than this manual makes it out to be. Many details were covered here that probably will not pertain to your specific conversion. Please experiment with different procedures and tools. This is a technology in its infancy. Have no doubt that before long, there will be tools that will enable us to accomplish full-scale HTML conversion and editing as easily as we create documents for our word-processors today.

If you have any comments, criticisms, or tips to share, please send them for evaluation and possible inclusion into this living document. Thank you.
