HTML Document Conversion: Sample Conversion Script

For BASH and CSH only

This Unix Shell Script was intended to work under both BASH and CSH. It is fully documented and it is encouraged that you modify this script to suit your own purposes.

Requirements:

You Must be working under Unix in BASH or CSH

You should have appropriate icons labeled : next.gif, prev.gif, and home.gif in a sub-directory called ICONS.

This is so you can use the Navigation Button feature of the script. Any small arrow-like gifs will do.

 Create a  TXT file called FILENAME (no . extension)
 Type TXT2HTML FILENAME
 Enter the Information required
       The NEXT, PREV, and HOME are optional links.  You need not fill
       these in.
 The script will create the HTML file and call it FILENAME.html.
