Using Word for Windows 2.0 (or 6.0) is an easy way to convert documents in many types of PC formats. Before trying to load a document into Word, be sure you have the correct conversion protocol installed on your computer. Review the user guide for Word on installing these document transfer protocols if you have any questions.
When you attempt to load the file into Word, Word will ask if you want to translate the document, and will present you with the list of transfer protocols currently available. Please select the document type of the file you are converting FROM. Word will begin the conversion process, which may take a long time depending on the document type, size, and complexity.
When the conversion is done, word will display the converted document, or generate an error message.
Most times after document conversion, touch-up work needs to be done. In this case, the fonts are too small and will not convert properly into ascii.
