| Areas of Advanced Research - Integrated Electronics and Electronics Manufacturing |
Major directions
are digital electronics, circuit theory, and computer-aided design. Emphasis
is placed on interface circuitry in fields including plasma diagnostics, computer
hardware, communication, measurement, and biomedical instrumentation. Some current
projects are concerned with adaptive signal processing, phase-locked loops,
digital communication, neural networks, robot control, aids for the handicapped,
and automated patient care.
