Research activities in the Computer Hardware, Architecture, and Mixed-Signal Design Group cover a variety of practical and interdisciplinary topics in electronic circuit design and semiconductor industrial applications. We are currently interested in:

  • Developing novel CAD tools to meet the objectives of the semiconductor-design industry.
  • Novel high frequency circuits, systems, and technologies for communications, and biomedical applications.
  • Design and fabrication of extremely high-speed logic and communication circuits.
  • Developing inexpensive portable analytical platforms for a variety of industrial, environmental and biomedical applications.
  • Developing non-invasive medical imaging devices.
  • VLSI architecture design and implementations for signal processing and communication systems.
