Short Bio:

I have been an Assistant Professor of the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering (ECSE) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) since 2013. I received my Ph. D. and M.S. degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2013 and 2010, respectively, and I obtained my B.E. degree and M.S. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2006 and 2009, respectively.

My research centers around dynamics and control, with applications in mobile sensor networks, autonomous systems, and robotics. I am interested in the design of cooperative control and filtering algorithms for multi-robot systems with the goal of answering the challenge of monitoring large areas with limited sensing resources and limited power.

I am looking for graduate students with self-motivation and strong mathematical background. If you are interested in my research, please apply to the graduate program of RPI and email me.
